Cancellation and Refund Policy for Paid Membership

1. Your Premium Membership can be canceled at any point during your selected term. Your membership access and perks will remain valid until the end of your term date.

2. All Sales are final. There are no refunds for those dissatisfied with the service or experiencing technical issues. If you are experiencing dissatisfaction or technical issues please contact [email protected].

3. If payment is declined or not received within 72 hours of your renewal date, your membership will be terminated.  

Cancellation of Event Tickets

1. For cancellation requests received 10 days or more prior to the scheduled event date, the Organizer will provide a full refund of the ticket purchase price to the ticket holder(s).

2. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The date of receipt of the cancellation request shall determine eligibility for a refund.

3. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the ticket purchase.

4. For cancellation requests received less than 10 days prior to the scheduled event date, no refunds will be provided. In such cases, the ticket holder(s) will not be entitled to any refund or credit.

5. The Organizer may, at their sole discretion, provide alternative arrangements for the ticket holder(s) in the event of cancellation or postponement. These alternative arrangements may include rescheduling the event, offering a credit voucher, or providing access to a future event organized by Connect574.com. Such alternatives will be communicated to the ticket holder(s) through the contact information provided during the ticket purchase process.

6. The cancellation policy stated herein is applicable only to event tickets purchased directly through members.connect574.com or Connect 574 Eventbrite. The policy does not cover tickets purchased through third-party vendors or resellers.

7. Connect574.com reserves the right to modify or amend this cancellation clause at any time without prior notice. Any changes made will be effective immediately and will apply to all ticket purchases made after the modification or amendment.

By purchasing a ticket or membership through members.Connect574.com, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions stated in this cancellation clause.

Free Membership Plans

Per the membership agreement, all members are required to sign up for a membership plan.  Details of our offerings will be disclosed to you in the membership plan.

Membership Benefits

As a member of Connect 574, you will have access to:

• Our exclusive community of individuals in the South Bend-Elkhart Region.

• Exclusive Connect 574 experiences that are hosted by Connect 574.

• The member portal that 
  • Shares upcoming events and experiences happening in the local region with potential discounts to certain activities.
  • Allows members to engage with other members outside of experiences

The Membership Services provided by Connect 574 also include but are not limited to:

• Connect organizes and hosts events for members;

• Connect brings members together through events and other offerings;

• Connect liaises with venues, performers, and other third parties for events;

• Connect manages membership, activities to promote and grow membership, incident review process, and other considerations;

• Connect manages systems through which members are made aware of, sign up for, and pay for events, including the club’s website; and 
• Connect manages systems for payment of membership dues. 

Membership Rules

You are prohibited from, and expressly agree that you will not:

• Behave in a manner deemed disorderly by Connect 574 or the owner/controller of an event venue at events, including but not limited to being disruptive to other members, being visibly impaired by alcohol or other substances, engaging in any illegal activity, using illegal substances, being destructive of materials owned by Connect 574 or the venue or any third parties associated with the event, being aggressive or violent, or harassing other members or performers or staff from third parties or representatives of Connect 574;

• Engage in behavior towards other members deemed inappropriate by Connect 574 or said other members on Connect 574’s platforms;

• Solicit business from other members of Connect 574 in a manner deemed inappropriate or intrusive by said members or the organization;

• Circumvent or disable any content protection system or digital rights management technology used with any membership services;

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce any membership services to a human-readable form;

• Remove identification, copyright, or other proprietary notices in or on the membership services;

• Access or use any membership services in an unlawful or unauthorized manner, or in a manner that suggests an association with our content, products, services or brands, unless you have an executed agreement with us that allows for such activity (this includes but is not limited to attending events member has not successfully registered for, attempting to act as a representative of Connect 574 with third parties at events, and misusing digital properties or profiles owned by Connect 574);

• Use, alter, copy, modify, store, sell, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, publicly perform, display, post, transmit, create derivative works of, or exploit any membership services or any part thereof, except as expressly authorized as part of the membership services provided to you;

• Introduce a virus or other harmful component, or otherwise tamper with, impair, or damage any membership services or connected network, or interfere with any person or entity’s use or enjoyment of any of the membership services;

• Access, monitor, or copy any element of the membership services using a robot, spider, scraper or other automated means or manual process without our express written permission; or

• Sell, resell, or make commercial use of the membership services, unless you have an executed agreement with us that expressly allows for such activity.

Notice: We may modify this Membership Handbook from time to time. When we update this document, we will revise the “Effective Date” date above and post the new Membership Handbook.  We recommend that you review the Membership Handbook each time you visit the Services to stay informed of our policies. 

Member Release Agreement

Connect 574 LLC strives to provide the most professional and organized community for our members. Access to all in-person events as well as online events will require agreeing to these terms and registering to be a Connect 574 Member. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Data Protection: By submitting registration details, Members agree to allow CONNECT 574 and partner companies to contact them regarding their services. All Members will be listed in the Member directory, virtually or print, and access to this directory will be restricted to event Members. This directory and data may also be uploaded into an online portal allowing Members to connect. Members will have the option to modify their privacy settings. The contact details of registered Members will also be placed on the Member list which will may be passed to community partner organizations. Members who do not wish to be included on this list should advise CONNECT 574 at [email protected] directly.

Photographs, Publicity Material, Radio and Television and Print Media: CONNECT 574 reserves the sole right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material received by or obtained by CONNECT 574 in the course of events, for whatever use deemed proper by CONNECT 574. CONNECT 574 has the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of Members, Sponsors, Exhibitors and their Exhibits including its contents, in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and otherwise, without compensation to the Member, Sponsor or Exhibitor, and all rights titled and interest bearing (including all worldwide copyrights therein) will be CONNECT 574’s sole property, free of any claims of Member, Exhibitor or Sponsor or any persons deriving any rights or interest from the Member, Exhibitor or Sponsor.

Admittance: In its sole discretion and without refund, CONNECT 574 reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the community or any other Member.

Disclaimer: CONNECT 574 may at any time, with or without giving notice, in its absolute discretion and without giving any reason, change, cancel or postpone the events, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither CONNECT 574 nor any of its officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person, nor will they return any money paid to them in connection with the community unless they are satisfied not only that the money in question remains under their control, but also that the person who paid it has been unfairly prejudiced, about which the decision shall be in their sole and unfettered discretion and, when announced, final and conclusive.

Force Majeure: CONNECT 574 shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of CONNECT 574 or its subcontractors.  For one or more of such reasons, CONNECT 574 may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of CONNECT 574.  In the event the community cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, CONNECT 574 shall not be liable to Member for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.  CONNECT 574 will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.

Member Release Agreement

I (Registered Member) do hereby irrevocably grant to CONNECT 574, its officer, agents, employees, and licensees, the absolute right and permission to record my likeness and/or voice with still photography, film, videotape or digital media, to edit such still photographs, film, videotape or digital media at the discretion of CONNECT 574, to incorporate the same into photo exhibits, motion picture films, video or digital media and Internet presentations, to use or authorize the use of still photographs, films, videotapes, digital media, or any portion thereof, in any manner at any time or times throughout the world in perpetuity, to copyright, use, reuse, publish, republish, exhibit, display, print and reprint in advertising, publicity or promotional material, magazines, books or any other digital media including the Internet, to use or authorize the use of soundtrack records and records of me or my voice, including the right to use my name, likeness, and biographical and other information concerning me in connection with the exhibition, advertising, promotion or any other use of such still photographs, films, and/or videotapes or other digital media.

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the still photographs, films, videotapes or digital media or the editorial or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith and further waive any claim that I may have with respect to the eventual use to which they may be applied. Such still photographs, films, videotapes, or digital media may be used at CONNECT 574’s sole discretion, with or without my name.

I hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless CONNECT 574 from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that I now have or may hereafter have by reason of any use of the film, videotapes, photographs or other digital media thereof.

I have read this release, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that by registering for this event, I am agreeing to the afore mentioned release freely and voluntarily and intend by my registration to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. 

Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Related to COVID-19

Waiver, Release, and Indemnification

As a condition of my participation in meetings or events, I, do hereby expressly waive any rights against and release and hold harmless CONNECT 574 and any of its employees, affiliates, contractors, and assigns (collectively “CONNECT 574”) from and against any and all claims, suits, demands, losses, damages, expenses, or liability of whatever kind or nature (collectively “liability”), under any theory of law or equity, that may arise during or as a result of my presence at the premises, including but not limited to any such liability related to or arising out of illness, injury, or death associated with infection of COVID-19 or complications, symptoms, or other effects resulting from contracting COVID-19. I shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CONNECT 574 and all other Releasees against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including attorney fees, fees and the costs of enforcing any right to indemnification under this Agreement, and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers, arising out or resulting from any claim of a third party related to the Activities.

BY COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FOR THIS COMMUNITY AND EVENT(S), I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS RELEASE. AND FREELY AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME THE RISK AND WAIVE MY RIGHTS CONCERNING LIABILITY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
